DYNAMIC SOUNDS DISCO - Terms & Conditions

1. BOOKING

a. The agreement shall be between Dynamic Sounds Disco (Dynamic Sounds or DSD) and the Person or Business (Client), for the supply of services (Disco).

b. Pixyour Booth, being a service of Dynamic Sounds, is also covered by these terms and conditions. All references to a Disco service can be taken to include Pixyour Booth service.

c. The start and end times for the Disco shall be as agreed on the booking form. Any additional time that DSD will play the Disco for is at the discretion of DSD and will incur extra charges as detailed on the booking form.

d. Additional features (extras) including, but not limited to, karaoke, early set up, display screens etc are charged as an extra, and will be detailed on the booking form

e. Discos in a venue that is more than 2 hours travelling for DSD may incur an additional charge to cover overnight accommodation. If applicable the charge for this will be detailed on the booking form.

2. VENUE

a. The venue is as agreed on the booking form. If the venue changes then the client is to give DSD as much notice as possible. Depending on the change of venue, the price of the disco may increase.

b. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that DSD has sufficient access time before and after the disco to set up and remove equipment. This is in the region 1 hour either side of the start and end times for the Disco but may vary by venue.

c. If venue management deem that the Disco is to start later or finish earlier than the times agreed by the DSD and the Client, then DSD will follow the instructions of the venue.

d. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure that DSD has sufficient power outlets for DSD to use. This is usually 2 of 240V socket each capable of supplying 13A, within a reasonable distance of where the Disco is to be set up. If there are alternative/additional requirements, this will be included on the booking form. If it is deemed by DSD that the power points are insufficient or unsafe, then the amount of equipment used and/or length of disco may be reduced, or if totally unsuitable DSD may refuse to do a disco.

e. In points b,c and d above if the duration of the Disco is shorter than the agreed times on the booking form then the full cost of the Disco as stated on the booking form is still payable, and no refund will be offered.

PAYMENT, DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION3.

a. The cost of the Disco and extras is as stated on the booking form.

b. Payment can be made by:

  • Cash
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer
  • Other methods are only by prior agreement with DSD

c. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the date. #

d. The balance is due for payment:

i. Cash - On the day of the event prior to the Disco commencing.

ii. Bank Transfer PayPal - Three working days prior to the date of the Disco.

e. Non-payment of the balance, as above, will result in either:

i. The Disco will not be taking place, but all fees will still be payable.

ii. DSD agreeing to late payment but reserving the right to add a £25 late payment fee. In all cases, any balance not paid within 14 days after the date of the disco is liable to interest being charged at 2% per month.

f. The Client may cancel the Disco at any time by doing so in writing to DSD. In the event of the Client wishing to cancel the Disco for any reason other than Act of God or Natural Disaster a late cancellation fee will apply as follows, due within 7 days of the notification:

i. Within 30 days of the date of the Disco - 30% of total cost

ii. Within 14 days of the date of the Disco - 100% of total cost (Note in all cases, late payments terms as per point d above apply)

g. If DSD cancel the disco due to unforeseen circumstances, then all fees paid will be refunded to the Client within 14 days of DSD cancelling. In this case DSD are under no obligation to but may assist you in finding alternative entertainment. h. At the discretion of DSD any or all the above fees, excluding the cost of the Disco, may be waived.

4. GUEST BEHAVIOUR

a. The Client is responsible for the behaviour and actions of all non DSD persons (Guests) attending the Disco, whether they be guests, paying public, venue staff or uninvited persons.

b. Any threats, either physical or verbal, will not be tolerated by DSD, and DSD reserve the right to end the disco early if such threats are made.

c. DSD reserve the right to suspend the Disco, or end the Disco early if the actions of any Guests are deemed to be unsafe to DSD, equipment belonging to DSD, or other Guests attending the Disco.

d. In points b and c above if the length of time of the Disco is shorter than the agreed times on the booking form then the full cost of the Disco as stated on the booking for is still payable, and no refund will be offered.

e. The Client is liable for any repairs of damage occurring to or replacement of DSD equipment caused by Guests. An estimate will be given verbally at the end of the Disco, with an invoice for the costs being sent out as soon as reasonably practicable.

f. DSD are not responsible for any damage to the venue's fabric, fixtures etc caused by Guests.

5. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOS & SOCIAL MEDIA

a. DSD may take photographs and videos at the disco. It is the responsibility of the Client to notify Guests of this. Any photographs or videos taken by DSD are the property of DSD,

b. If for any reason you would prefer that photographs and videos not be taken please inform DSD prior to the event.

c. Photographs and videos taken by DSD may be included on websites and social media in relation to DSD
